Magi (The Knights of the Mind)

Magi (The Knights of the Mind)

Located in the Walled City of Taropost, the Order is the ruling body of the city with its own military, city guard, and rules, governed by a council of 12 Arch-Magi each masters of a particular discipline. The Tower of Learning has a grand library which holds some of the most ancient books in the realm.

Each Castle is assigned a Magi (called the Seneschal) who is assigned by the Order of the Magi. Each Seneschal is bound to that castle (regardless of the lord) for life.

Students who go to school can follow several paths. Clerical, Magic-User, Healer, Druid. Some of the harder disciplines call for the individual to be there for decades.

They are trained in various arts including: They include history, healing, herblore, the speech of ravens, the building of castles, navigating by the stars, the measurement of days and the marking of seasons, Accounting, Religion, castle defense, literary works, writing, and schooling.

Apprentices/Acolytes: Clay pin with a small crystal
Sages: Copper pin with a crystal

They are also able to heal 1 HP / Level of experience of the Magi with an instantaneous dressing and care of a wound. Con bonus can be applied to healing.

Poisons: Identification and treating of poisons is also practiced. The chance (with the proper equipment is as the table below.

Weapons/HP/XP/Proficiencies: as a M-U

Lore: This is a bonus to intelligence checks when identifying objects, history, or making any d6 check that goes against intelligence. This ability is the result of reading through long dusty tomes that contain obscure knowledge.
